Life in Pictures

May has been a very busy and crazy, but many good times were had! Summary in pictures:

Watching big brother play coach-pitch baseball

 Bike riding

Buddy Fun Day at school (think school carnival-type thing during the school day).
The red hair was a huge hit

Swimming at Disney Land - Bartlesville

In Bartlesville, we went to my cousin's high school graduation.
I had lots of help there!

Me and a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2015! Whoop!!!

We also got to visit Kiddie Park - where the rides are a quarter
and the last train ride is always free

Memorial day celebration with my brother and his new fiancee (super excited!!)
Here are Ben and Uncle Brad having a water gun fight:

And finally, as of 3:00 p.m. today, we will officially have a 1st grader. So hard to believe.
His Kinder gave an end of year program "Kindergarten Gets a Job" where he told the audience
that he wants to be a professional baseball player when he grows up.

Let it Snow!

Hello! Remember me? I used to post pictures of cute kids with funny stories and the happenings of our family of five. But, recently, I have very much neglected the blog; not because we think our kids are any less cute or funny, but because times are crazy in the Schrib household, but that is a blog post for much later.

We did have our first snow for 2011 a couple of weeks ago- we barely had enough to make a snowman, but with a little teamwork, we succeeded:

Big boy

Brandt is growing up so much, and so fast. He is doing new stuff all the time!!

Posting a few Christmas pics...

...before January is over, and I feel like a complete blog failure :) Christmas seemed so much less stressful this year, and it was so nice. A big part of it was because we got to leave the kids in Canyon for a few days while we came on back to Dallas!!

Nearing the End...

As summer is coming to an end, I have been thinking about the great times we have had this summer!

We went to Canyon for the fourth of July. It literally rained on our parade and the fireworks were cancelled, but we still had a great time with the fam.

We also got to go to Great Wolf Lodge. It was a total blast, and Ben keeps asking when we will get to go back! He could have stayed there a whole additional day, but the rest of us were wiped out!

I also did some interviewing over the summer and have accepted a new position within my company. I will be working from home starting September 7. I am excited and nervous about the new job.

Lanny and I celebrated our 8th anniversary and had an awesome date night while some super sweet friends kept the kiddos.

And, we went to the circus...Zing, Zang, Zoom!! I still hear those 'magic' words all the time!

Brandt'ler' as we call him, turned 1 year old...so hard to believe! We had a small get together to celebrate the little guy! His doctor visit went well, but we have confirmed that he has food allergies. I am still trying to figure that all out, but for now, I know that he is allergic to dairy, egg, and peanut. And, possibly wheat, sesame seed, corn, and soy. We will hopefully meet with the allergist soon.

As the summer comes to a close, a big chapter in our life is over and a new one is beginning. Ben starts kindergarten next week. We found out this week who his teacher will be, and we have Meet the Teacher night tomorrow night. He couldn't be more excited! I, on the other hand, am barely holding it together!!
